This class covers the basics of how to apply, distress, and wax over common furniture finishes. We’ll answer all the questions you didn’t even know you had and cover the most frequently asked questions we get from our customers!

This informal workshop will equip you with all the necessary skills to develop your own personal style and give you the confidence to start your own projects. The workshop lasts almost two hours and is suitable for complete beginners and for the more advanced who would like a refresher. The course includes all materials, plus a 10% off voucher to spend in our shop and wine and some light refreshments. The workshop is Annie Sloan Back to Basics & Method 1

Cost: $94 supplies included


In this class, you will create a sample board using some basic painting techniques.
How to:
• Prepare a surface for painting
• Paint a surface smooth to rough
• Several ways of applying paint
• Creating texture using paint
• Applying waxes
• Using Guilding waxes
• Etching into wet paint over a complimentary color
• Using paint as a wash
• Question and Answer time
All materials needed will be provided

Students must provide the chair (be sure it’s stable)
Make an appointment with Stockist – Neil prior to the workshop and get your base paint color. Bring a painted chair to the workshop.
During the appointment, Neil will consult with you regarding what your goals are to achieve.
